Evelyn earned her Bachelors in Music and English from Columbia College and her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from USC. Her favorite roles include Goldie Dawn in "Impresario," Ginger in "Dramatic Criminals," and Ruthven in Vampyr! (for which she also wrote the libretti), Ruth in Pirates of Penzance (concert version), Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors and Monica in The Medium.
Along with Michael Brown, she is a co-founder of MLOS, for which she co-directed and sang Jane in Patience. She will sing the title role in Iolanthe.

Michael has performed in a number of venues on both sides of the Atlantic, including in a cave in Sweden. On stage he is well regarded for his skill in jumping on or over furniture, and his 2010 performance of Monostatos in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte was called “obnoxious” by a Washington Post reviewer. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance (with a minor in Music History) from USC in 2018, and has spent the time since living his best postdoc life. He directed Opera Carolina's touring production of "The Tortoise and the Hare."
Along with Evelyn Clary, he co-founded MLOS, for which he directed and musically directed "Trial by Jury," and musically directed Patience.
He has a passion for bringing individuals and communities together to create music and a talent for helping the groups he works with realize their potential and possibility for growth and collaboration. In his free time, he enjoys making pizza, photography, and Chinese martial arts.
